How many different cards are in One Piece OP-01 Romance Dawn?

Published · By the Cards from Japan editors

Summary

Romance Dawn has 121 card types: 8 Leaders, 45 Commons, 30 Uncommons, 26 Rares, 10 Super Rares, and 2 Secret Rares. Some of those also exist as parallel versions, including six box-topper parallels, so picking OP-01 in the official Card List returns 154 entries. The English set came out on December 2, 2022, at $4.19 per pack.

Eight Leaders in four colors

There are no Black or Yellow cards in the set. Numbers run by color: 001 to 030 are Red, 031 to 059 Green, 060 to 090 Blue, and 091 to 119 Purple. The two Secret Rares sit at the end, Shanks (OP01-120, Red) and Yamato (OP01-121, Green).

Why 121 turns into 154

Every Leader and every Super Rare appears twice in the list, along with six Rares, both Secret Rares, and six Commons and Uncommons. Shanks shows up three times. The six Commons and Uncommons (OP01-008, 034, 048, 064, 077, and 109) are the same numbers pictured as box toppers on the product page, which says one of those six goes into each box at random. The Japanese product page puts the number of parallel cards in packs at 27.

The Illustration Type filter splits the same 154 entries three ways. Comic returns 30, Animation 34, and Original Illustrations 90. The Comic group holds one version of each of the eight Leaders and all 20 Event cards.
