Where do One Piece promo cards come from?

Summary

They are handed out as tournament prizes and participation packs, in official promotion card sets, and through collaborations with other companies. The official Card List's Promotion card section shows 374 entries in English and 439 in Japanese, and each entry names where the card was distributed.

Reading the Card Set(s) line

Promo numbers do not all start with P. Many promos share a number with a booster card, and the Card Set(s) line is what marks them. In the English list, OP01-021 Franky came from Tournament Pack Vol.2, EB02-010 Monkey.D.Luffy from DODGERS ONE PIECE NIGHT, and EB01-006 Tony Tony.Chopper from Treasure Cup November-December. The Japanese list shows EB04-061 Luffy as a prize for the April 2026 Flagship Battle.

Two 2026 programs

At Nike's three-day Tokyo pop-up in Harajuku, September 4 to 6, 2026, each pair of shoes came with a special DON!! card in a "Gum-Gum" design, and each apparel or cap transaction came with an alternate-art "P-099 Monkey.D.Luffy." Nike's page notes that this P-099 has the same effect as the earlier P-099 Monkey.D.Luffy with different artwork. Outside Japan, in-person footwear buyers received an English-language DON!! card whose design matched the shoe's colorway.

Round1 in the United States runs the ONE PIECE CARD GAME Round1 Promotion Pack. Each pack holds one randomly selected card with a One Piece x Round1 design and requires a $20 deposit on a Round1 Game or Club Card, up to 10 packs ($200). Participants must register online first, and registration gives the chance to buy but does not guarantee stock. Phase 5 runs September 30 to October 6, 2026.
