Can the official database show how many artworks a Yu-Gi-Oh! card has?

Summary

Yes. Each card page in the official Yu-Gi-Oh! card database shows the card's illustrations as a row of numbered thumbnails. Dark Magician has 17 on the Japanese page and 11 on the English page. The page text does not say which printing uses which artwork.

What the Dark Magician page shows

On the English page, the artwork thumbnails are numbered 1 through 9, then 15 and 17. The Japanese page runs 1 through 15, then 17 and 18, with no 16. Blue-Eyes White Dragon's Japanese page has 16 (1 through 15, plus 17).

Below the images, the Sets list gives each printing's release date, set number, product, and rarity, one per row. Dark Magician has 71 rows in English and 70 in Japanese, from LOB-005 (March 8, 2002) and Japan's Vol.1 (February 4, 1999) onward. No row is tied to a thumbnail number.

Some product names do point to a specific look. In English, DUPO-EN101 comes from DUEL POWER VARIANT CARDS, MVP1-ENSV3 is one of the movie pack's Variant Cards, and DUSA-EN100 is listed as Ultra Rare (Duelist Saga Version). Japan's QCAC-JP018 is from QUARTER CENTURY ART COLLECTION, released February 22, 2025.
