What kind of card game is Union Arena?
Summary
UNION ARENA calls itself a "Common Rules Trading Card Game." Titles such as BLEACH, JUJUTSU KAISEN, and CODE GEASS all play under one rulebook, so once you know the rules you can pick up any title. A deck is exactly 50 Character, Site, and Event cards from a single series, plus three AP cards.

- Exactly 50 cards, mixing Character, Site, and Event cards.
- Up to four cards with the same card number.
- No mixing series. A JUJUTSU KAISEN deck holds only JUJUTSU KAISEN cards.
The series shows up in the card number. UE03BT/JJK-1-001 is from the English JUJUTSU KAISEN booster, and the JJK tells you the title at a glance.

The English version opened on October 4, 2024 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War [UE01BT] and HUNTER X HUNTER [UE02BT]. Japan had started a year and a half earlier, on March 24, 2023, with CODE GEASS [UA01BT] and JUJUTSU KAISEN [UA02BT]. English titles keep arriving; Puella Magi Madoka Magica [UE29BT] and Mushoku Tensei [UE30BT] were added in September 2026.
