Can a PSA cert page tell you how many copies of a card have been graded?

Only part of the picture. A cert page opens without signing in and shows the card details, the grade, and a figure called PSA Pop Higher. The full breakdown by grade lives in PSA's Population Report, which as of September 24, 2026, requires signing in with a Collectors account.

What Pop Higher shows

On the PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator, cert 23000982, Pop Higher is 0. On a MINT 9 manga alternate art Monkey D. Luffy from ONE PIECE OP09, card 119, cert 154250293, it reads 1,031. As the name says, it counts copies graded above the card in hand, so a 10 shows 0.

PSA's glossary defines population as the number of items graded at a given grade since PSA began grading in 1991. It is updated daily.

What CGC and BGS offer

CGC's Population Report sorts trading card games by game, era, and set, and has a search box for single cards. It opens without signing in. CGC states that the counts are not an indicator of value or rarity and should not be relied on for purchases or investments.

Beckett, which runs BGS, had beckett.com and its app offline on September 24, 2026, and its card lookup page redirected to a temporary notice.
