What do I need to start playing Dragon Ball Fusion World?
Summary
One starter deck is enough. The English STARTER DECK -SON GOKU- [FS01] sells for $11.99 and contains a ready-to-play 51-card deck, an Energy Marker, a playsheet and rule manual, one bonus pack, and a code for the digital version. The Japanese FS01 has the same contents at ¥990, and both launched on February 16, 2024.
Deck-building rules from the official FAQ
A deck holds 50 to 60 cards. You cannot include a card whose color your Leader does not have, and you can run up to four copies of the same card number, though cards that only share a name are unlimited. Under the Rule Manual, you lose when your Life Area or your Deck Area runs out of cards. The digital version runs on PC and uses the same rules as the physical game.
